Roster Planning Coordinator - Ground Operations

To ensure we continue to deliver our award-winning VIP Customer Service, we are looking to hire a Roster Planning Coordinator – Ground Operations to join our team for a 12-month Fixed Term Contract / Secondment.

Reporting to the Ground Operations Planning Manager UK, our Roster Planning Co-ordinator - Ground Operations will be responsible for the planning and scheduling of rosters for our Ground Operations airport-based colleagues across the UK.

What you’ll be doing:

* Responsible for creating accurate, compliant, and balanced rosters for Jet2.com Ground Operations, ensuring the smooth operation of our workforce.
* Optimizing operational coverage while maintaining cost-efficiency, supporting both the company’s budgetary goals and operational requirements.
* Ensuring that all rosters comply with national, and company regulations and policies, maintaining the highest standards of safety and legal conformity.
* Support Ground Operations Training teams by managing resource availability and providing effective solutions to any staffing or availability challenges.
* Work closely with Station Managers to define Ground Operations colleague roles, including operational contribution levels, and ensure rosters reflect these requirements.

What you’ll have:

* Demonstrate adaptability, a flexible attitude and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment delivering to tight timescales.
* Excellent Microsoft Excel skills and strong attention to detail to support effective roster planning.
* Apply a solid understanding of resource planning, roster planning cycles, working time directives and workplace rostering agreements.
* The ability to turn around tasks at short notice while maintaining accuracy and quality of output.
