Protocol Education is currently recruiting a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a supportive school in Colchester from September on a full-time basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HLTA who is keen to progress, take on increased responsibility, and make a meaningful impact on pupils’ learning and development.
The Role:
* Delivering pre-planned lessons and covering classes when required
* Supporting pupils across the curriculum, both in class and through targeted interventions
* Contributing to planning, assessment, and pupil progress
* Working collaboratively with teachers and senior staff
* Supporting a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Hold HLTA status or have significant relevant experience
* Be confident supporting whole classes, small groups, and individual pupils
* Be motivated, proactive, and eager to develop professionally
* Have strong communication and classroom management skills
* Be passionate about helping pupils achieve their full potential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
