Requirements
The duties involve regulated work with children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Successful applicants will be required to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member for Regulated Work with these groups, or if already a member, to undergo a PVG Scheme Record Update before a formal employment offer is made by East Ayrshire Council. PVG records are regularly updated, and any relevant information disclosed will be discussed with the applicant prior to employment.

The Individual
This is a permanent full-time position based at Loudoun Academy, Galston. The working hours are 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, under the direction of the line manager. The annual salary ranges from £40,305 to £50,589.
