Clarus Education is currently recruiting for an experienced and passionate Lecturer in Hairdressing to join a well-established further education provider in Cambridge on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled industry professional or qualified lecturer to inspire the next generation of hairdressing students.
We are seeking a confident and engaging Hairdressing Lecturer who can deliver high-quality teaching, practical demonstrations, and theory sessions within a professional training environment.
The Role – Lecturer in Hairdressing
As a Hairdressing Lecturer, you will:
• Deliver engaging and structured lessons across Hairdressing qualifications
• Teach both practical salon skills and underpinning theory
• Plan, prepare and assess student work in line with curriculum requirements
• Support learners in developing industry-standard techniques
• Maintain a safe and professional workshop/salon environment
• Track student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Contribute to curriculum development and team collaboration
Candidate Requirements
The successful Hairdressing Lecturer will:
• Have strong industry experience in hairdressing
• Ideally hold a teaching qualification
• Have experience delivering training or education (desirable)
• Demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills
• Be passionate about developing learners’ skills and confidence
• Be able to start ASAP
