The Role
As a Project Engineer, youll be responsible for delivering complex equipment and process upgrades from concept to commissioning. Youll also play a central role in shaping maintenance strategies, managing statutory inspections, planning outages, and leading contractor engagement.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Lead and manage project delivery: scope development, stakeholder engagement, capital applications, tendering, installation, commissioning, and close-out
2. Ensure seamless documentation integration into Maintenance and Document Control systems
3. Oversee statutory inspections for lifting equipment, pressure systems, boilers, and auxiliary systems
4. Take ownership of key areas during planned outages, ensuring safe and efficient execution
5. Work closely with Procurement to secure long-term supplier agreements and refine scopes of work
