The Team
You'll be joining the dynamic Hits Radio team, home to some of the UK0s most loved presenters including Fleur East, Will Best, Gemma Atkinson and Sam Thompson. Our mission is to become the UKs biggest pop station, and we0re driven by creating relatable, entertaining, authentic and live content. You0ll work closely with the breakfast show team who bring energy and character to the airwaves. This is a team that thrives on collaboration, creativity and continuous improvement.
You0ll be the operational heartbeat of our sub-brand stations, ensuring our live and pre-recorded shows run smoothly and meet the highest standards of content and technical execution.

Job Purpose
As Producer for Hits Radio (Sub-Brands), you0ll work directly with presenters to deliver compelling content aligned with our brand strategy. You0ll manage the technical execution of live shows and oversee the delivery of pre-recorded programmes, ensuring everything meets our high standards and complies with Ofcom regulations.
Our Team
You0ll be part of a passionate and ambitious content team within Bauer0s Audio division, reporting to the Deputy Director of the Hits Radio Network. You0ll also collaborate with our Operations Producers and Enterprise team to deliver seamless programming and contesting.
Working Pattern/Location: This is a full-time, permanent role based in our Newcastle studios, Monday to Friday, 5:30am 2:00pm (breakfast show).
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the planning and execution of the daily breakfast programme.
* Ensure timely and fault-free delivery of all pre-recorded content.
* Brief presenters on commercial and editorial content.
* Resolve live technical issues in collaboration with Operations Producers.
* Manage studio bookings and logistics for pre-recorded shows.
* Uphold compliance with the Ofcom Broadcasting Code.
