CHEMICAL PROCESS SAFETY ENGINEER
We are offering an exceptional opportunity for a CHEMICAL PROCESS SAFETY ENGINEER
A Kings Award winning business, need a Chemical Process Safety Engineer to ensure effective implementation of process whilst observing risk management process. Could this be you?

RESPONSIBILITIES
8. Supporting compliance with DSEAR and COMAH UK regulations
9. Develop and implement process safety strategies to meet regulatory and operational requirements.
10. Deliver technical safety/process engineering solutions that support business objectives.
11. Lead and participate in process safety assessments such as HAZID, HAZOP, and SIL target-setting studies, generating reports and managing follow-up actions.
12. OEE improvements
13. Improvement of cell layouts and lean methodologies
14. Conduct hazardous area classification following industry standards and guidelines.
15. Develop and implement Functional Safety Management Plans.
16. Review and produce safety engineering deliverables, including HSE plans, safety specifications, and equipment specifications.
17. Provide technical input to design assurance reviews, such as P&ID reviews and constructability assessments.
18. Ensure compliance with industry codes, regulations, and best practices in process safety and environmental engineering.
REQUIREMENTS
19. Degree in appropriate Engineering Discipline, ideally Chemistry
20. Must have the right to work in the UK
21. Strong understanding of process safety principles and risk management frameworks.
22. Experience in process safety methodologies, design practices, and regulatory compliance.
23. Knowledge of relevant H & S Environmental legislation
24. Familiarity with FEED, Detail Design, Construction, Commissioning, and Plant Start-up processes.
25. Experience of HAZIP/HAZOP/LOPA
26. Strong knowledge of continuous improvements
