Our client who delivers an excellent service to its customers, its external teams, and subcontractors, is looking to grow the team with an experienced planner/scheduler due to business growth. You will plan works to make sure they are carried out as efficiently as possible as required to meet client satisfaction. You will liaise with clients as required and ensure good communication on all aspects of the works undertaken including all relative documentation. Previous use of job management and scheduling systems would be essential to this role alongside excellent communication skills via both written and verbal means. PLEASE NOTE- Due to the location of this business you will need to drive and have access to a vehicle Responsibilities: • To plan maintenance works for the Engineer Teams mainly planned but occasionally reactive too. • Updating company job management systems ensuring all attendance dates are updated and ensuring any access notes and attempts to book in works are noted on the job • Updating Client Portals where required, ensuring works are booked in with sites • Complete Engineers worksheets ensuring all assigned works are listed and prioritised • Issue details to engineers confirming start times and meet locations • Checking that all arrangements been made (special access/permits/passes) • Request parts required for works from the Purchasing Dept. • Liaise with Engineers to ensure issues are dealt with in a timely manner • Liaise with Engineer's Supervisor to approve Engineers' holidays, leave and training requirement/requests • Provide reports and Certificates to clients on completion of works • Work on the weekend Call Out Rota and directing Engineers (typ. 1 in 7 or less) Working Hours 8.30am-5pm or 8am - 4pm Monday to Friday 40 Hours per week 30 Mins Lunch break Salary £27,000 - £30,500 depending on experience (Additional pay will be given for on call element separate from basic salary) Free onsite parking
