Wastewater Servicing Pump Engineer Kent Mon- Fri Perm My client based in Kent is looking to recruit a Wastewater Servicing Pump Engineer to join their team on a full time perm basis with at least 2 years experience within the job role. You will be experienced in servicing below ground pump stations and attending call outs. You will be on a 40 hour contract paid door to door. Day to day of the Wastewater Servicing Pump Engineer: Service, inspect, and maintain belowground wastewater pumps, including submersible units located in chambers, wet wells, and confined spaces. Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults, ensuring pumps and control systems are restored to full working order. Carry out cleaning, deragging, and removal of blockages to maintain efficient pump performance and prevent system failures. Complete service reports, record findings, and ensure all work is carried out in line with health & safety and environmental regulations. Requirements of the Wastewater Servicing Pump Engineer: Minimum of 2 years' experience working with wastewater pumps, drainage systems, or similar belowground mechanical equipment. Sound mechanical and electrical knowledge, with the ability to service, faultfind, and repair submersible pumps and control systems. Experience working in confined spaces and an understanding of associated health & safety procedures. Ability to work independently in a fieldbased role and respond to emergency callouts when required. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites as part of daily duties.
