Role Description
This is a full‑time hybrid role for a Partnership and Programme Officer based at Gravesham Borough Council, with flexibility for some remote work. The role involves developing and maintaining partnerships with key stakeholders, coordinating and delivering programmes that align with the council’s strategic goals, and monitoring the success of these initiatives. Key responsibilities include planning and implementing community‑focused projects, managing resources effectively, and contributing to policy development. The role will also involve preparing reports, facilitating meetings, and ensuring compliance with relevant guidelines and standards.
Qualifications
* Proven ability to build and maintain partnerships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
* Strong project and programme management skills, including the ability to plan and deliver initiatives within deadlines and budgets.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Analytical and problem‑solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
* Proficiency in preparing reports, managing documentation, and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
* Adaptability to work in both office and remote environments.
* Relevant experience in local government or a similar organisational context is a plus.
* Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field is preferred.
