We are an Adult Education service delivering courses across the community in subjects such as basic computer skills, functional English and Maths, painting, drawing, and more, at adult learning centres and community venues.
The successful candidates will support a busy administrative team, assisting with learner enrolments, maintaining education records, and data entry tasks.
As the first point of contact, you will demonstrate excellent customer service skills and create a friendly, welcoming environment for all visitors.
Essential Requirements:
* Excellent customer service skills
* A friendly and welcoming attitude
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
* Commitment to data protection
Training will be provided for the department's management information system (MIS); experience with databases or data entry is advantageous.
The role involves helping with opening and closing adult education centres and may require evening and occasional weekend duties.
Hours:
37 hours per week
Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 GCSEs A*-C (9-4) including English and Maths or equivalent. Evidence of qualifications will be required.
The successful candidate will need to pass a Standard DBS check.
