What awaits you?
* Operate and maintain a group of machines within a complex manufacturing system, ensuring productivity and quality targets are achieved.
* Maximize machine uptime by monitoring material flow, changing tools, validating quality, recovering faults, and performing first-level fixes where skilled.
* Focus on maximizing OEE through robust problem resolution, adhering to VPS principles, and workplace standards like good housekeeping, 5S, and TPM.
* Monitor facility systems, input data into PCs/HMI’s, respond to facility failures, and restore equipment swiftly using your skills and knowledge.
* Analyze data to identify trends, recommend remedial actions, and provide technical expertise for bottleneck situations and engineering changes.
* Validate component quality after tool changes, offsets, maintenance, or planned changes.
* Coordinate and control planned stoppages to minimize process impact, including tool changes, proactive adjustments, repairs, and quality corrections.
What should you bring along?
* Qualified to NVQ level 3 or technical apprenticeship or equivalent in maintenance or machining disciplines.
* Experience in automotive manufacturing preferred.
* Knowledge of high-volume production machinery advantageous.
* Familiarity with machinery, technical, electrical, and mechanical systems.
* Experience with SAP Data recording and PSS/IPS-T data beneficial.
