You have a great personality! You will therefore win over our customers by providing a service that is tailored to their individual needs and requirements. Your duties will also include the following:
* Manage and grow a portfolio of corporate and local accounts
* Identify new business opportunities
* Maintain regular communication with clients to strengthen partnerships and encourage repeat business.
* Host site visits and hotel show rounds for prospective accounts.
* Actively support brand awareness initiatives within the Glasgow market.
* Represent Motel One at industry networking events, trade shows, and local business events.
* Attend relevant corporate and hospitality networking events.
* Monitor local market activity and competitor performance.
* Track and report sales activity and room night production.
* Ensure CRM and account data are kept up to date
Qualifications
Whether you are a hotel professional or changing careers – you will fit in here! Because personality and hosting skills are our priority. You will also:
* Ideally have completed an apprenticeship in the hotel trade and/or have some professional sales experience or be looking for a change of career
* Be open and communicative and have a positive attitude
* Have excellent manners and strong negotiation skills
* Have a persuasive personality and enjoy active selling
* Enjoy working in multicultural teams and be willing to cooperate across departments
