Our Role
As a Senior Research Executive, you will have established the foundations of what it means to work in a strategy team, know where you can contribute to the overall strategy for client brands and ultimately improve the quality of the agency's outputs.
You will be expected to have increasing autonomy on putting into practice the skills and tools you have gained but also develop a thirst to continue to learn from everything you do and the people around you that you work with.
What you can expect to be doing:
* Have a refined understanding of brands and their role in marketing communications
* Be able to recognise and articulate why different brands behave as they do
* Demonstrate a clear understanding of key competitors, category dynamics as well as drivers / inhibitors of brand growth
* Have a secure understanding of the benefits of the brands we work on, the science behind them, the brand’s positioning and what this means in terms of guiding decision making
* Have a clear understanding of the key stakeholders involved in the therapy areas on which you work
* Support in client meetings, pitch preparation, workshops and communications where appropriate
* Develop a thorough understanding of the categories you work in and proactively advise the team as to developments
* Recognise where research is needed, define how the information gaps will be filled and draft the objectives for primary research
* Possess a thorough understanding of all client research and the key stakeholders involved in the therapy areas on which you work

* Previous experience in a research role and/or strategy
* Agency experience
* A passion for brand planning
