Our client is a leading firm of chartered accountants and business advisers in the UK, acting for clients across a variety of sectors. The firm is seeking to recruit an experienced Corporate Tax Director to develop the corporate tax offering in Scotland and to assist existing clients with corporate tax matters, including tax advisory and transaction services, corporate tax compliance and reporting obligations.
Responsibilities
* Develop strong client relationships and identify new business opportunities, with the support of the Head of Department and other senior staff.
* Take overall responsibility and accountability for a portfolio of clients.
* Lead and manage client relationships effectively, focusing on expanding services to existing clients and securing new business opportunities.
* Mentor and develop Associate Directors and other team members, fostering a high-performance culture.
* Deliver exceptional client service while proactively managing and mitigating conduct risk.
* Contribute to the strategic and operational management of the department and/or office, where applicable.
* Collaborate with internal fee-earning partners to shape and implement our go-to-market strategy.
The Candidate
This position is ideally suited to a qualified professional (e.g. ACA, ACCA, or CTA) with several years of post‑qualification experience in UK corporation tax.
