School Nurse (Part:Time, Fixed Term Contract)

Nurse Seekers are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-reputed independent preparatory school in Surrey for a compassionate and dedicated School Nurse to join their team on a fixed:term basis for one term with a view to go full time but this is not a requirement.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a patient and nurturing Registered Nurse to support the health and wellbeing of children within a supportive school environment.
Working Hours
* Monday: 08:00 : 16:30
* Tuesday: 08:00 : 16:30
* Wednesday: 08:00 : 13:00
The contract will run from 20th April 2026 to 1st July 2026.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide first aid and nursing care to pupils and staff
* Act as the first responder in medical emergencies
* Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
* Support the overall health and wellbeing of the school community
* Liaise with staff and parents where appropriate regarding medical matters
Requirements
* Registered Nurse with a valid NMC registration
* Experience working with children or within a school setting is desirable
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* A calm, patient and nurturing approach
