Position: Operations Shift Manager
Location: Stanton, Suffolk (IP31)
Grade: RCS. L
Shift patterns: Monday-Friday. Day time hours (Shift Pattern TBC, but will be from the following: 06:00-14:00, 08:00-16:00 or 14:00-22:00)

As an Operations Shift Manager based in Stanton, you'll play a key role at the heart of our Warehouse Operation - leading frontline teams, driving operational excellence, and ensuring every journey meets the highest standards of safety, service, and compliance.

✅WHAT YOU'LL DO
* To supervise the running of a safe and efficient operation, working within clear guidelines to help achieve Operational Standards
* Manage operational performance on shift to achieve agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) on productivity, quality and cost
* Ensure workload planning and resourcing routines are accomplished to the required standard
* Complete all team performance reviews and 1-2-1's for direct reports, accurately and within timeframe
* Ensure that SOP's, Work Instructions and company policies and processes are being adhered to at all times
* Control absence levels on shift by robust and consistent application of absence management process
* Develop strong management capability through effective performance management, coaching, mentoring and development of teams and individuals
* Building and maintaining effective working relationships with the Customer, colleagues and stakeholders
✅WHAT YOU'LL BRING
* Previous warehouse management experience at First Line Manager/Shift Manager level is essential
* Previous Team management experience (1x First Line Manager, 15-25 Warehouse Operatives and Admin staff)
* Excellent communication skills - Verbal and written
* Able to challenge in the right way and influence stakeholders
* MHE operations experience would be beneficial
* Demonstrable record of delivering against targets for own area of responsibility
