The Role
We are seeking a talented Company Accountant to join our Head Office in Warwick.
Reporting directly to the Group Finance Director and Group Managing Director, this is a high-profile role supporting multiple subsidiaries within the Group.
The successful candidate will take ownership of monthly management accounts, forecasting, and financial modelling, as well as playing a key part in pricing strategies for tenders and supporting senior leadership with data-driven insights. This is an exciting opportunity to add value at group level while being part of a business with strong growth ambitions.
Key Responsibilities
Preparing monthly management accounts and supervising reporting across all subsidiaries, producing detailed commentary for senior stakeholders.
Attending monthly meetings to review performance, analyse results, drive efficiencies, and develop action plans.
Preparing annual budgets and quarterly forecasts (3+9, 6+6, 9+3), working with senior stakeholders and the Finance Director to balance growth ambitions with achievable targets.
Delivering pricing and profitability improvement initiatives, such as maintaining ricing databases for tenders and rate reviews.
Leading on pricing for bids - balancing competitiveness with profitability through detailed financial modelling.
Preparing financial reporting for clients, including current and projected spend, monitoring fee arrangements, and providing breakdowns.
Managing invoice discounting processes, including reporting and closure of bank ledgers.
Collaborating with international offices (Germany, Spain, Ireland, and France) to ensure accuracy and alignment of financial reporting.
Monitoring monthly performance against forecast to highlight risks and opportunities.
About You
A qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with demonstrable post-qualification experience.
Strong technical skills, with advanced Excel knowledge; experience with Dimensions Accounting software is desirable.
Proven experience in management accounting, financial modelling, and reporting at group level.
Commercially astute with experience supporting pricing for tenders/bids. Leading on pricing for bids, often time pressured and complex. Use financial modelling to show the impact of the rates we consider and to help guide senior management.
Confident communicator, able to influence senior stakeholders and present financial information clearly.
Analytical mindset with the ability to balance detail with the bigger picture.
