Summary Shift Electrician | Elton | Permanent | £60,731.28 12 hour shifts - days and nights We're looking for a skilled Shift Electrician to join our high-performing engineering team in Elton. Your duties will include: As a Shift Electrician, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our plant runs smoothly and efficiently: Carry out electrical maintenance, fault finding, and repairs to minimise downtime Diagnose issues using testing equipment and technical expertise Perform preventative maintenance to keep equipment operating at peak performance Test electrical systems and ensure safety, compliance, and reliability Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical components Support mechanical teams during breakdowns when needed Work both independently and collaboratively to resolve issues quickly Interpret and act on technical drawings and schematics Conduct quality inspections and testing The Key Requirements: Minimum apprentice time served in electrical discipline Experience of working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment Ability to read schematics and other technical documents HV experience highly desirable but not essential Knowledge of servo motors, PLC's and variable speed drives Benefits: Annual leave package is equivalent to 25 days plus 8 bank holidays, if you work a shift pattern, your annual leave and bank holidays may be built directly into your rota.
