Job Description
1. Lead continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating current workflows and developing smarter, more efficient ways of working
2. Improve workstation layouts and production areas to support safety, ergonomics, and optimized flow
3. Use modeling tools to analyze production scenarios and recommend solutions that increase throughput and reduce bottlenecks
4. Guide teams through change by providing coaching, structure, and clear CI methodologies
5. Support value stream efforts by improving material flow, WIP storage, and overall process design
6. Investigate production challenges, gather data, and implement effective engineering solutions
7. Stay current with manufacturing best practices and introduce new tools, technologies, and methods where beneficial
8. Identify cost‑saving opportunities and recommend improvements that reduce waste and enhance productivity
9. Oversee 5S activities and drive a culture of operational excellence
10. Contribute to ongoing improvement programs and support various initiatives across the organization

The Successful Applicant
11. Bachelor's degree required; engineering or engineering technology discipline preferred
12. Experience with industrial design in aerospace or automotive manufacturing
13. Mechanical or electromechanical aptitude is considered an asset
14. Lean or Six Sigma certification is an asset
15. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
16. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); Power BI and AutoCAD are assets
