Overview
We are looking for a Maintenance/Service Manager to lead and manage the maintenance/service department, ensuring efficient scheduling and delivery of maintenance services to clients. The Maintenance/Service Manager is responsible for overseeing the Maintenance Administration team, Maintenance Engineering team and Maintenance Key Account Manager (KAM). The role leads revenue growth and builds the team capability required to deliver current and future growth. Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, measurement, reporting and management of internal and external KPI(s). Ensure efficient and effective processing of maintenance tasks, adherence to internal processes, health and safety standards, and customer satisfaction goals.
Responsibilities
* Leadership and people management: provide overall leadership of the Administration and Engineering teams; direct reports include the Senior Maintenance Coordinator, Senior Maintenance Engineer and Maintenance KAM; coach and develop the team; oversee recruitment and professional development; ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.
* Operational management: plan, coordinate, and execute maintenance service visits; manage the maintenance schedule to complete contracted services on time and in accordance with terms and KPI’s; ensure processes for planned, documented, and invoiced activities; maintain effective communication with clients and internal stakeholders; manage weekly and monthly operational reporting.
* Technical and team support: collaborate with the Senior Maintenance Engineer to provide technical support, training, and mentoring of field engineers, with proper documentation.
* Customer relations and contract management: act as the primary point of contact for maintenance clients; monitor SLAs and KPI’s, resolve disputes, assist with contract renewals, and approve maintenance quotations with accurate costing for remedial works and additional services.
* Health, safety, and compliance: ensure maintenance operations comply with HSE regulations and company policies; monitor RAMS and update documentation; lead investigations into maintenance-related incidents and implement corrective actions.
