Care Assistant (full‑time and part‑time) positions are available with Highland Home Carers in Tain, Scotland. The role supports people in their own homes, assisting with personal care, daily duties, medication administration, and companionship while maintaining dignity and independence.
Job Title: Care Assistant
Employment Type: Full‑Time (37.5 hours) and Part‑Time (4–10 p.m.)
Location: Tain, Scotland
Responsibilities
* Provide person‑centred and holistic care in line with Support Plans.
* Assist clients with personal care, mobility, medication, and dietary requirements.
* Enforce risk assessments and keep accurate records per HHC regulations.
* Work flexible shifts, including weekends.
* Attend job‑related training and review meetings.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Full, valid UK driving licence and private vehicle for work.
* For international applicants: minimum 3 months hands‑on experience in the care sector.
* Willingness to register with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).
* Able to work in Tain or surrounding areas and flexible with shift patterns.
* Demonstrated respect for HHC values and policies.
