Join our dynamic Foundations & Corporations team in Development and Alumni Engagement (DAE) at the University of Oxford. In this new role of Project Officer, you will use your communication and organisation skills to help build and steward high-quality relationships with trust, foundation and corporation donors. This will help enable world‑class research, education, and operations in a globally respected institution with worldwide impact.
Location: University Offices, Wellington Square, Oxford, OX1 2JD
Salary: £35,681 to £41,636 per annum with a possible extension to £45,212.
Inclusive of an Oxford University Weighting of £1,730 per year (pro rata).
Contract: Full Time (37.5 hours), Permanent contract

About the Role
The DAE Foundations and Corporations Team is a pan‑University fundraising team focused on building and maintaining successful philanthropic relationships for University’s priorities. Funding secured supports key research areas such as the environment, health and societal challenges, as well as scholarship support for postgraduate students. We work closely with our colleagues in specialist fundraising teams as well as those in business partnerships and research services.
The Project Officer will play a crucial role in supporting the team in delivering on its fundraising and donor stewardship aims; providing key support in areas such as preparing progress reports for donors, organising donor visits and small‑scale events, assisting with the team’s external communications, and helping identify new potential organisation donors. It is an opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic candidate to play an active role in supporting DAE’s mission and contributing to the wider work of the University.
About You
 * You will have excellent written and oral communication skills.
 * You will have a high level of IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
 * Be able to work independently on multiple projects to meet set deadlines.
 * Be a collaborative team member with good listening skills.
 * Be able to think strategically about managing University relationships with potential/existing donors.
