The Role
The Housekeeping Porter is responsible for maintaining the steady flow of linen around the property, ensuring the Housekeeping team have a ready supply of clean linen at the required times.
Key Responsibilities
* Taking or removing Cot beds and Z-beds from bedrooms as per daily list
* Stripping beds on assigned floors
* Removing dirty linen and delivering it to the Laundry
* Delivering clean linen from the Laundry and placing it on shelves according to @type
* Turning of mattresses as per daily list
* Assisting the Laundry and Housekeeping Assistants with their tasks when required, or when own tasks are completed.
What we’re looking for:
* Previous experience in hospitality or hotel housekeeping is preferred
* Attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks
* Ability to work independently and efficiently
* Strong time management skills to ensure tasks are completed within designated timeframes
* Excellent communication skills to interact with guests and team members
