Contract Type: Permanent – 40 Hours Per WeekDays of Work: Tuesday to SaturdayHours of Work: 00:00 - 08:30This is a fast-paced, physical role and you will be on your feet all shift. As a warehouse operative, you will be the backbone of our operation, playing a critical role in DPD continuing to deliver outstanding service.
Key Duties Include:
Loading and unloading, scanning, and sorting parcels with precision and accuracyHandling items up to 25kg (who needs a gym membership when you can keep fit whilst you work!)Using our technology systems to ensure every parcel gets to the right place at the right timeOperating warehouse equipment including scanners, conveyor systems, and handling equipment safely and efficientlyMaintaining high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping throughout the warehouse environmentConducting quality control checks to verify parcel condition and accurate labelling and reporting any discrepancies, damaged items, or system issues to your supervisor promptlyWorking collaboratively with team members to meet daily targets and shift objectivesAdhering to attendance expectations and maintaining reliability throughout your shiftYou'll Receive: Full training from Day 1 and all required uniform and PPE
