We are looking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic person to join our friendly Clinical Governance Team within Surgery Care Group. We are a welcoming, supportive, and inclusive team with a good work ethic.
We are looking for someone with good organisational skills, effective communication skills and the ability to work well on their own and as part of a team. It is important that the post holder can adapt to changing demands, be accurate in inputting information and be able to follow instructions.
The post holder must have the ability to handle distressing and emotionally sensitive situations with empathy, sensitivity and a high level of confidentiality.
The post holder can be based at either York or Scarborough Hospital. There may be a requirement for cross-site travel as and when required.

Main duties of the job
The role will include but not be limited to:
1. ·Receiving and processing e-mail and telephone queries
2. ·Co-ordinating PSIRF response meetings,
3. ·Taking minutes for meetings
4. ·Maintain electronic databases and worklists, ensuring all items are actioned in a timely manner, and to escalate any issues accordingly
5. ·Produce reports and other documents as required to analyse work and provide information
This is an interesting and varied role requiring excellent IT skills, to include knowledge of Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook/Teams. The successful candidate will be required to have good organisational skills. You will also need to have excellent communication skills as you will be required to liaise with a wide range of professionals and service users. You must be effective at prioritising workloads, with a proven ability to work independently, use your own initiative, and apply sound analytical thinking to support administrative processes.

12. Educated to GCSE Level or equivalent qualification / demonstrable experience
