Reporting to the Head of Building Services, the Mechanical Building Services Engineer will be responsible for preparing mechanical building service designs, engineering drawings, specifications and the supervision of mechanical building service installations across the property portfolio. The Mechanical Building Services Engineer will also be responsible for updating existing drawings by inspecting (in a real time setting) the mechanical services during live projects and incorporate any amendments using AutoCAD. Key to the success of this role is collaborative working and liaising Clerk of Works (Mechanical) on Minor Capital projects to ensure successful project delivery as well as producing technical works specifications, including Employer's Requirements on Design & Build projects.
It is essential that applicants have: Minimum HND in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services (Mechanical bias) AutoCAD Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages Membership or working towards CIBSE / IENG status, My client is looking for a well organised and thorough Mechanical Building Services Engineer who possess excellent communication skills, high level stakeholder management experience and who demonstrate a collaborative style of working.
