Account Manager
Full time and permanent
Location: Ipswich and office based
Salary: From £28,000 DOE
Role Purpose
This is a commercially focused position responsible for developing, managing, and growing relationships with a designated portfolio of clients in line with business targets. The role will focus on driving sales performance, identifying new opportunities, and ensuring revenue and margin goals are consistently achieved.
Responsibilities
* Manage assigned client accounts to achieve agreed sales and margin targets.
* Develop and cost product proposals and commercial presentations.
* Identify and pursue new sales opportunities to grow revenue and market presence.
* Negotiate agreements with clients to secure and maintain business.
* Oversee preparation of sales assets including images, video content and POS materials.
* Lead and support the internal admin and logistics teams, including recruitment and performance management.
* Maintain accurate product and inventory data within internal systems.
* Ensure purchase orders, supply agreements and invoicing processes are completed accurately and on time.
* Monitor customer feedback, product performance and service levels, escalating issues where needed.
* Provide accurate sales and stock forecasts to relevant departments.
* Build strong relationships with clients and maintain regular communication with internal teams.
* Participate in events, meetings and training activities, supporting wider team requirements as needed.
