Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications:
* Experience working as a data scientist in a global organisation, covering a broad spectrum of analytical skills from data mining and trend analysis to developing advanced machine learning models. Demonstrated ability to coach Data Scientists, including project planning and stakeholder relationship management.
* Ability to analyze large structured and unstructured datasets, including intelligence, fraud, and business data, using tools like Python, Jupyter Notebook, Hadoop, Spark, and REST APIs.
* Knowledge of descriptive and prescriptive analysis, understanding data distributions, machine learning algorithms, and building KPIs based on defined problems.
* Strong foundation in statistics, including probability, hypothesis testing, and ANOVA.
* Experience designing and building automated data processes, integrating various data sources in batch or real-time environments.
Desirable Skills/Additional Qualifications:
* Experience with fraud detection systems and understanding cybercriminal tactics.
* Knowledge of web, network, and cybersecurity fundamentals.
* Leadership experience managing Data Science teams across multiple locations.
* Active participation in data science research and development.
