We have been retained by a new client to recruit a Commercially biased Managing Director for their UK business. As a result of a revised growth strategy, our client is now looking for an MD to drive the sales strategy. This role will report into the European Director and will be responsible for driving the overall sales strategy across the UK business. You will take full responsibility for the end-to-end UK business including operations, commercial, sales, marketing and supply chain. Focussing on the UK market you will drive commercial growth. You will be responsible for: Establishing and delivering on the UK based sales strategy Develop and coach the sales team in refined and proactive sales processes Lead the operations and supply chain elements of the business Take responsibility for the marketing direction of the business. Currently a Sales or Commercial Director you will be experienced in the leasing, rental or Facilities Management sector. You will be proven in delivering on significant sales growth as well as leading and mentoring a team to be high performers. UK based experience is essential. Ideally you will be MBA qualified and will have a confident yet consultative style who is open to further development and learning. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to take their first step into an MD capacity but does require an open and transparent behavioural style. This role requires someone to be on site, in Bedford, 3 days a week minimum.
