Architecture CAD Coordinator (MEP) - London - Up to £50,000 - Hybrid Working
A growing multi-disciplinary consultancy is seeking an experienced Architecture CAD Coordinator with strong MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) knowledge to join its expanding London office. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled CAD professional to play a key role in delivering commercial building consultancy projects across a range of sectors.
The Role
As the Architecture CAD Coordinator, the successful candidate will support the technical delivery of projects, producing high-quality drawings and ensuring coordination across architectural and MEP elements. Working closely with project managers, building surveyors, sustainability experts, cost consultants, and M&E engineers, the role offers a varied and collaborative working environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and manage detailed CAD drawings with a focus on accurate MEP coordination
2. Support a wide variety of commercial building projects, including offices, retail, education, housing, and mixed-use developments
3. Coordinate and liaise with internal teams and external consultants to ensure consistency and quality in project delivery
4. Maintain CAD standards and contribute to continuous improvement across the business
5. Assist in BIM coordination where required
Requirements
* Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (and ideally Revit), with significant experience in architectural CAD coordination
* Solid understanding of MEP systems and their integration within architectural layouts
* Previous experience working in a consultancy or multi-disciplinary environment
* Excellent communication and coordination skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
