The role
As the Head of Marketing, you will be a strategic leader responsible for driving our brand equity, market narrative and long-term proposition positioning in the fintech landscape.
This is a pivotal role that bridges executive-level strategy with high-impact execution. You will primarily own our market narrative, product proposition positioning, customer value proof and comprehensive sales enablement tools.
You will play a pivotal role in redefining the clients market presence, driving the strategic repositioning of the company from a traditional product vendor to a critical infrastructure partner. Working closely with the CEO, Chief of Staff and Senior Leadership Team (SLT), you will shape the external narrative to align with our broader strategic agenda.
This is a 12 month FTC opportunity based in London requiring 3 days per week onsite.
About you:
- Executive B2B & Fintech Leadership: Proven experience at Head or Director level within fintech or financial services. Confidently partners with C-Level and SLT, navigating complex procurement cycles and the strict credibility standards of regulated UK markets.
- Strategic Leader & Practical Enabler: Serves as the senior marketing authority. Effortlessly balances high-level corporate strategy with the hands-on agility to build playbooks and operational frameworks for a lean team.
- Product Marketing Excellence: Deep expertise in mapping competitor positioning, architecting compelling value cases, and translating complex technical software into credible, enterprise-ready messaging.
- Narrative Design & Thought Leadership: Exceptional ability to write authoritatively and shape a premium corporate narrative across digital channels, positioning the company as a trusted market authority for senior financial services executives.
- Commercial Fluency & Sales Enablement: Highly commercially fluent, collaborating across Sales, Product, and Finance to deliver the elite collateral, case studies, and customer proof points required to close complex enterprise deals.
- Campaign, ABM, & MarTech Strategy: Strong conceptual understanding of Account-Based Marketing (ABM) and campaign design, with the ability to architect targeted account-engagement frameworks for the marketing team to execute via HubSpot.
- Branding & Team Leadership: Proven track record of leading and working with cross-functional teams, managing external PR/vendors, and supporting corporate branding and Employee Value Proposition (EVP) initiatives. (Preferred: PE-backed exposure, exit storytelling and international growth).
