Location: Hybrid – regular visits to our Central London office, rest remote

Type: Part-Time, Freelance (2 days per week)

About Us:

We are a fast-growing beauty accessories brand known for our game-changing makeup bags and beauty storage. Loved by consumers and stocked by major national retailers, from Boots to Harrods to Sephora and more, we’re known for our genuinely innovative products that transform how people organise their makeup.

We’re looking for a storytelling expert with 4+ years experience who will become obsessed with understanding every feature, benefit, and use case of our products, then ensure they’re communicated powerfully everywhere they appear – with particular focus on our US audience.

What You’ll Do:

Master our product innovations – understand every feature, benefit, and creative use case
Guide social media communication strategy – understand how to grab attention and communicate value quickly to social audiences
Audit and optimise product presentation across all touchpoints: social media, website, retailer sites, packaging, press releases, award applications
Create compelling product narratives that showcase true innovation, not just features
Develop seasonal PR angles and trend-driven content opportunities
Craft press pitches for UK & US beauty editors that highlight product differentiation
Support sales team with retailer pitch materials that communicate value clearly
Ensure consistency in how products are presented across all channels
Research and understand target audiences – particularly US beauty consumers and their content consumption habits

You Must Have:

Excellent copywriting skills – proven ability to communicate product benefits effectively
Traditional PR background – experience pitching journalists and understanding media cycles
Social media expertise – portfolio showing content that generates genuine engagement
Strong visual communication skills – ability to convey complex product information through clean, compelling imagery and video content
Beauty industry passion – genuine love for innovative products and problem-solving
Complex communication skills – ability to explain innovations and benefits clearly
Proven track record – examples of content/campaigns that drove measurable engagement or results

Ideally You Also Have:

Own content portfolio with proven audience growth
Experience with US market/consumers (PR, content, or personal)
Comfort with being in front of a camera to demonstrate product features and other educational content
Understanding of seasonal/trend-based marketing
