Permanent Private Chef Job, Wiltshire
Greycoat Lumleys’ client is seeking a Private Chef to join her household in Wiltshire.
You will be predominantly cooking for one principal, although the client often entertains family and guests. The role requires someone who enjoys creating both everyday meals and occasional dinner-party style dining.
The household has a fantastic kitchen garden and their own free-range chickens, so a passion for seasonal, fresh, and homegrown produce is essential. Duties will also include:
1. Making jams, preserves, and chutneys from the garden’s produce.
2. Supporting with food styling for the client’s business.
3. Cooking a variety of cuisines, with a focus on:
4. Ottolenghi-inspired dishes
5. Family-style sharing meals
6. Classic British cuisine
The kitchen is open plan, so the chef should be comfortable engaging with the client and guests in a warm, professional manner.
This is an excellent role for a creative, flexible, and passionate chef who enjoys working with homegrown ingredients and can adapt to both relaxed and more formal dining styles.
Days: Thursday to Monday
Salary: £60,000 GPA
Start: As soon as they find the right person.
