This role plays a key part in driving operational excellence by improving manufacturing processes, increasing efficiency, and supporting new product introductions from concept through to production.

Manufacturing Engineer
Key Responsibilities
Optimize manufacturing processes for quality, efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
Drive process control and capability to ensure reliable, repeatable production.
Apply Lean and industrial engineering tools (Kaizen, time studies, VSM, line balancing).
Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, waste reduction, and first-time quality.
Support industrialization of new products including tooling, work instructions, and validation plans.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth design-to-production transitions using DFMA principles.
Implement and lead APQP, PPAP, and related readiness and approval processes.
Conduct structured problem-solving using RCA, 8D, and DMAIC methodologies.
Define and maintain routings, SOPs, and manufacturing documentation.
Design and validate tooling, fixtures, and gauging to enhance quality and repeatability.
Monitor performance metrics (yield, scrap, RFT, throughput) and drive data-led improvements.
Support technical training on processes, tools, and quality methods.
Contribute to capital investment projects including equipment upgrades and capacity expansion.
Manufacturing Engineer
Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering within high-spec environments (e.g., machining, fabrication, assembly, or similar).
Worked in industries such as aerospace, defense, automotive, nuclear, marine
Degree or HND in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or related Engineering field.
Strong knowledge of process capability (Cp, Cpk), SPC, and statistical validation tools.
Proven background in continuous improvement and Lean implementation.
Hands-on experience with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and 8D problem-solving.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and GD&T.
Skilled in documenting and optimizing complex manufacturing workflows.
