We're looking for a creative, trend-savvy Social Media Assistant to help elevate our online presence and engage our growing community. As part of the Fairfax & Favor team, you'll play a key role in supporting the delivering of standout content, driving brand awareness, and bringing our signature British luxury to life across social platforms to our audience of over 900k.

What you'll be doing
* Bring Campaigns to life: Support the Social Media team in planning and executing exciting customer and trade marketing campaigns across all key platforms.
* Track What Matters: Monitor performance metrics and platform insights to refine content strategies and boost audience engagement.
* Capture the Moment: Get hands-on at events and shoots - snap behind the scenes content and deliver dynamic live coverage.
* Join the Action: Attend iconic events like Cheltenham Festival, Badminton Horse Trials, Burghley, The Game Fair, and more - contributing creative ideas and supporting on-the-ground content planning.
* Help Shape the Calendar: Collaborate with the team to select which events to attend and pitch fresh, strategic opportunities.
* Turn Briefs Into Brilliance: Help interpret creative briefs and respond to feedback with a can-do, solution-focused mindset.
* Own Your Channels: Schedule and publish content across assigned platforms, keeping everything on-brand and in sync with the content calendar.
* Influencer Ally: Support outreach, build relationships, and liaise with influencers, affiliates, and potential partners.
* Fuel the Feed: Pitch weekly content ideas and help plan scroll-stopping social posts that are creative and engaging, and on-brand.
* Partner in Promotion: Work with external ad partners - delivering content and supporting campaign execution.
* Go Global: Coordinate with USA team to support and align social media activities across US events and wholesale initiatives.
* Drive Engagement: Propose giveaways, collabs, and creative campaigns designed to grow our audience and boost interaction.
* Stay ahead of the Curve: Keep up with the latest social media trends, platform updates, and best practices to ensure content stays fresh and effective.
* Live the Brand: Understand and embody our brand voice - professional, personable, and premium - ensuring consistent, high-quality content.
* Think Visually: Have a strong eye for storytelling, visuals, and creating content that builds community and elevates presence.
What you will bring
Marketing & Campaign Know-How:
* Dual expertise in consumer and trade marketing—strategic thinking meets real-world results.
* Proven success in managing customer programmes from start to fishing - tracking performance, spotting insights, and driving improvements.
* Skilled at analysing campaign impact and ROI, with a sharp eye on what works and why (& what doesn't)
* Focused on maximising social media impact - working smarter not harder.
Content Creation & Creative Tools:
* Confident creator across all major social platforms - Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and more.
* Hands-on with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro) and Canva - bringing ideas to life through bold, on-brand visuals.
* A natural storyteller with a strong visual instinct and creative edge.
Communication & People Skills:
* Strong communicator - clear, engaging, and confident across written, verbal, and presentation formats.
* Build instant rapport with clients, influencers, and teams - personable, professional, and persuasive.
* Experienced in leading teams and collaborating across departments with ease and energy.
Organisation & Execution:
* Razor-sharp attention to detail, with top-tier organisation and time management.
* Thrives in high-pressure environments - calm under deadlines, fast-moving, and focused.
* Proactive self-starter who owns tasks from idea to execution.
* Fluent in Microsoft Office, Adobe Tools, Canva, and social scheduling platforms.
* Always up-to-date on social trends, platform updates, and creative best practices.
* Juggles multiple priorities with ease - cross-functional, cross-platform, no problem.
