Your Role
We are recruiting for a Production Office Assistant to join our CAPS Unit (Compounding Aseptic Production Service).
This role is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills and attention to detail, looking to build a career in a production or office support environment. You’ll gain hands-on experience in scheduling, documentation, and coordination, with opportunities to learn and grow within a supportive team.
Working hours
Monday-Friday 37.5 hours per week, between 07:00 – 17:00. You are required to work all bank holidays except for Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day.
Contract
12 months fixed term.
Location
Thorncliffe Park, Sheffield, S35 2PW – located just off Junction 35A of the M1. We offer free car parking, transport links, an on-site canteen serving hot and cold food/drinks.
Your main responsibilities
* Prepare accurate batch manufacturing records and labels each day, based on the production schedule.
* Create bulk bag forms and labels and ensure stock levels are maintained in the Goods In area.
* Maintain Excel databases and check production documentation for accuracy.
* Assist with the scheduling of work across production areas.
* Use internal systems to check customer orders, monitor stock levels, and generate order numbers for production batches.
What you need to succeed
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Confident using Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
* Comfortable working independently, using your own initiative, and contributing effectively as part of a team.
* Able to manage time and meet deadlines.
* Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
