Business Support Coordinator

Hours: 37.5 per week

We're seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Business Support Coordinator to join our dynamic Finance team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can juggle multiple priorities with ease, and communicates clearly and confidently across all levels of the business.
About the Role
Reporting to the Finance Director, you'll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Finance team. From financial processing to office coordination, your ability to multi-task, stay organised, and maintain accuracy will be essential to delivering timely and reliable support.
Key Responsibilities
You'll be a go-to person for a wide range of tasks, including:
Finance Support
* Assist the Senior Finance Assistant with monthly routines
* Manage purchase orders and incoming deliveries
* Support credit control and customer Direct Debit collections
* Reconcile supplier statements and collate credit card receipts
Business & Office Support
* Coordinate travel and accommodation for staff
* Book meeting rooms and restaurants
* Manage weekly office supplies (milk, fruit, etc.)
* Organise maintenance, food vans, and company events (summer, Christmas)
* Track and celebrate staff birthdays and work anniversaries
* Prepare welcome packs for new starters
What You'll Bring
* Minimum 1 year of experience in an administrative or finance-related role
* Strong Excel skills and familiarity with financial processes
* Experience with Microsoft Dynamics (preferred but not essential)
* Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines independently and as part of a team
* A positive, can-do attitude
