JOB PURPOSE Role would be to maintain plumbing/piping/drip/sprinklers/automation in Landscape Irrigation Systems, Lift Irrigation Systems, Water bodies and Fountains at RGIA premises (PTB and landside) through SLA based AMC Contracts. Responsibility would also include maintenance of fogging system at Nursery & compost plant, maintenance of poly-houses including climate controlled pol house. This role is also responsible for installation of new irrigation systems through contractors as per design drawing as and when required. ORGANISATION CHART Head - Landscape Specialist - Landscape Sr. Engineer – Landscape Irrigation Key Accountabilities O&M of Lift irrigation systems at RGIA landside consisting of open wells and bore wells. O&M of manual and automatic drip and sprinkler irrigation systems at RGIA. O&M of water bodies & fountains. Deploying contractor manpower for daily O&M activities. Preparation of preventive maintenance schedule and get it completed by AMC. Preparation of report for issue and use of irrigation spares on site, maintaining record of spares at store. Co-ordination with Technical Services staff and contractors regarding water supply issues in day to day work. Responsible for Maintenance of fogging system at Nursery and compost plant. Responsible for maintenance of climate controlled poly house. Installation of new irrigation systems through contractors as per design drawing as and when required. Modification and extension in existing irrigation network as and when required to ensure continuous water supply. Implementation of Health, Safety and Environmental measures as per the standard operating procedures. Drive the learning development initiative by training the contractors’ irrigation technicians with emphasis on SOP’S, safety and precautions to be taken while working at high risk zones EXTERNAL INTERACTIONS Interact with external contractors’ representatives/ supervisors for smooth execution/ maintenance of the projects. INTERNAL INTERACTIONS Reporting manager, team members, Stores Department, Engineering and other depts FINANCIAL DIMENSIONS Should have work experience in Development and Maintenance of landscape projects including farm production, in commercial, industrial, intuitions with a minimum project value of Rs.1 Cr. annually Other Dimensions To handle a team of 20 people Should be computer literate with working knowledge of MS office and should be able to read Auto CAD drawings. Sound communication skills in English, Hindi Education Qualifications B.
