Driver Hire Edinburgh City is currently recruiting experienced Class 2 (Category C) Drivers for a well-established client, with opportunities available across both Edinburgh East and West depots.

📍 Edinburgh West – Flexible Ad Hoc Work
1. Flexible, as-and-when shifts
2. Typical start time: 7:00am
3. Ideal for drivers seeking flexible working patterns
📍 Edinburgh East – Full-Time Ongoing Role
4. Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays
5. Consistent 8:00am start times
6. Ongoing work with potential for long-term opportunities
➕ Additional shifts may be available across both locations depending on business demand.
💰 Pay Rates
PAYE:
7. £14.50 per hour
8. £19.32 per hour (overtime after 8 hours)
PAYE Advanced:
9. £16.25 per hour
10. £21.66 per hour (overtime after 8 hours)
✅ Minimum 8 hours’ pay guaranteed per shift

🚚 The Role
11. Driving a Class 2 vehicle completing multi-drop deliveries
12. Working alongside a driver’s mate to assist with loading and unloading
13. Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and on time
14. Carrying out daily vehicle checks and maintaining accurate paperwork
15. Providing professional and friendly customer service
✅ Requirements
16. Full UK Class 2 (Category C) licence
17. Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card
18. Maximum 9 penalty points (no DD, DR, CD, or IN endorsements)
19. Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
20. Minimum 12 months’ Class 2 driving experience
