Are you a Document Controller or Bid Administrator ready to take the next step in your career? This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing commercial interiors team in Farnham as an Assistant Pre-Construction Manager, supporting a busy and collaborative pre-construction department.

The role offers a perfect blend of document control, bid coordination and project support, ideal for someone who enjoys organisation, communication, and being at the heart of the tender process. Whether you’re looking to progress into pre-construction management or prefer to focus on bid administration, this team will help you develop your skills and grow.

Key Responsibilities

*

Manage and maintain all pre-construction and bid documentation, drawings, and correspondence.

*

Ensure version control and accuracy across all tender submissions and project files.

*

Support Pre-Construction and Bid Managers with tender preparation, formatting, and submission.

*

Assist in compiling Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQs), Expressions of Interest, and client documentation.

*

Liaise with internal teams (design, estimating, operations) and external partners to gather required information and documentation.

*

Track progress and ensure all inputs are received ahead of deadlines.

*

Format and proofread documents to maintain consistency with company branding and presentation standards.

*

Monitor bid timelines and deliverables, ensuring submissions are completed accurately and on time.

*

Organise and support bid team meetings, take minutes, and follow up on actions.

*

Manage submissions through online tender portals and maintain accurate records.

*

Provide administrative support to the Pre-Construction and Estimating teams as needed.

About You

*

Background in document control, bid coordination, or pre-construction administration (ideally within construction or fit-out).

*

Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail and time management skills.

*

Confident communicator, comfortable liaising with different departments and external partners.

*

Proficient in Microsoft Office and document management systems.

*

A proactive attitude with a genuine interest in pre-construction and tender management.
