Overview
You\'ll be at the heart of our machine shop operations—programming, setting, and operating a variety of CNC 3, 4 & 5 axis machining centres (Fanuc & Hurco). Reporting to the Day Shift Supervisor, you\'ll ensure that production targets are consistently met, quality standards are maintained, and the team works smoothly and safely.
Responsibilities
* Program, set up and operate CNC 3, 4 & 5 axis machining centres (Fanuc & Hurco).
* Work with the Day Shift Supervisor to meet production targets, maintain quality standards, and ensure safe, smooth team operations.
* Interpret engineering drawings with precision.
* Utilise and manage tool selection, work holding and inspection equipment.
* Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
Qualifications
* Fully conversant in Fanuc & Hurco programming.
* Experienced with cast iron & steel castings.
* Strong knowledge of tool selection, work holding & inspection equipment.
* Capable of interpreting engineering drawings with precision.
* A natural team player with great communication skills.
* Flexible, proactive, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
