Geography Teacher – Part-Time Cover Location: Near Crawley (Turners Hill area) Start Date: January 2026 Duration: Unknown (ongoing cover) Hours: 08:30 – 17:30 Pay: Teachers are paid to scale, based on experience and qualifications We are looking for a dedicated Geography Teacher to join a friendly secondary school just outside Crawley in the Turners Hill area. This is a part-time role working 3 days per week (approximately 0.32 FTE). The cover is required from January 2026, but the exact duration is currently unknown. Key Responsibilities: Teach engaging Geography lessons to KS3 and KS4 students Plan and prepare lessons in line with the curriculum Mark and assess student work, providing constructive feedback Support the department and contribute to student progress Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience teaching Geography at secondary level Strong classroom management and communication skills
