Experienced Social Worker | Family Safeguarding | East Lancashire
Job Description
Salary: £36,363 – £46,142 per annum (Grade 8/9, dependent on experience). The position is a fixed‑term contract until November 2026, full‑time (37 hours per week), located in East Lancashire.

Team and Responsibilities
Our Family Safeguarding team includes domestic abuse officers, domestic abuse practitioners, child and family practitioners, and mental health practitioners. As an experienced social worker, you will work in a fast‑paced, multi‑agency environment, delivering intervention to children and their families as part of a team. You will support the core Child in Need and Child Protection work using a Motivational Interviewing approach.

Training and Development

Requirements
* Minimum of 12 months post‑qualification experience; newly qualified or ASYE social workers are not suitable.
* Registered with Social Work England.
* Must be able to provide a car for use in connection with duties; business‑use insurance required (disability accommodation possible).
