Electrician – Responsive Repairs Milton Keynes Salary: £41,229 + Excellent Benefits total package 44k – plus van and fuel cardHours: 39 per week : Monday to Thursday from 8:00am to 4:30pm, and Fridays from 8:00am to 3:30pm
The Opportunity: We’re looking for a skilled and customer-focused Electrician to join a responsive repairs team on a permanent, full-time basis.The Role: As part of a dedicated maintenance team, you’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical repairs, installations, and testing services across residential properties. Your work will help ensure homes are safe,pliant, and maintained to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Carry out electrical repairs, installations, and maintenance in domestic andmercial settings.
2. Perform fixed wire testing and ensure all workplies with current regulations.
3. Interpret technical drawings and specifications effectively.
4. Deliver excellent customer service while working to performance targets.
What You’ll Bring:
Essential Skills & Experience:
5. Qualified Electrician with experience in both domestic andmercial environments.
6. Strong understanding of electrical systems up to 230v/415v.
7. Ability toplete and certify work in line with industry standards.
8. Familiarity with health and safety practices and physical capability to perform manual tasks.
9. Proven ability to work in a customer-focused environment.
Required Qualifications:
10. City & Guilds 236 Part 1 & 2 or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation.
11. 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671).
12. Full UK driving licence.
Desirable:
13. Over 2 years’ experience conducting EICRs.
14. City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection & Testing) or equivalent.
Please Note: A basic DBS check will be required for this role, which will be arranged and paid for by the employer.
