Our client is looking for a hands on Maintenance Manager to take ownership of all site maintenance, ensuring equipment, plant and facilities are operating efficiently and safely. This is a key role supporting day to day operations, continuous improvement and compliance across the site.
💥 As a Maintenance Manager, you will:
Carry out planned preventative maintenance in line with the site maintenance programme
Manage engineering stock, including spare parts, tools and consumables
Order parts and materials as required to minimise downtime
Plan and coordinate plant shutdowns in line with operational needs
Organise and manage contractors for repairs, servicing and compliance activities
Attend and respond to call outs when required
Support research and development of new plant and equipment
Ensure all monitoring, testing and compliance requirements are met in line with site permits
Coordinate waste removal and general site requirements
Support wider site operations as needed
💥 What we’re looking for:
Strong experience in maintenance within an industrial or plant environment
Experience with shredder repairs and refurbishment, including cutter replacement
Ability to service and maintain forklift trucks
Strong mechanical and electrical fault finding skills
Welding experience and ability to carry out repairs
Experience maintaining roller shutter doors and general site equipment
Proven ability to manage contractors and maintenance schedules
Hands on, proactive and solutions focused approach
