We are recruiting a full-time HLTA to support across EYFS and KS1 in a Gateshead primary school. This is an ideal opportunity within Teaching Assistant jobs in Gateshead for someone experienced and ready for more responsibility.
About the role:
You’ll support teaching and learning across Reception and KS1, delivering sessions and leading small groups.
Your day-to-day will include:
* Delivering phonics and early learning sessions
* Supporting play-based learning in EYFS
* Covering classes when required
* Leading interventions for pupils needing extra support
* Supporting classroom routines and transitions
What we’re looking for:
* HLTA status or strong TA experience
* Confidence working across EYFS and KS1
* A nurturing and engaging approach
* Strong communication skills
