Verallo is seeking an Accounts Assistant Manager to manage a client portfolio and oversee the preparation and review of statutory accounts, tax returns, VAT filings, and management accounts. Description
* Manage a portfolio of clients across limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders
* Review year-end statutory accounts for senior management approval
* Review corporation tax computations and returns
* Complete and review monthly/quarterly VAT returns across various VAT schemes
* Review monthly and quarterly management accounts to a high standard
* Liaise with clients on technical accounting and software-related queries
* Support the development, training, and workflow management of junior team members
* Deliver high-quality client service and maintain strong relationships
* Provide ad-hoc support to Partners as required
Profile
* ACA or ACCA prt-qualified
* Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
* Hands-on, proactive, and client-focused approach
* Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
* High level of attention to detail
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
* A team player with a strong work ethic and drive
* Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines
