Children’s Mental Health Assistant – Full Time Location: Hillingdon, West London Salary: £480–£500 per week (PAYE, weekly pay; dependent on experience and/or qualifications) Start Date: September 2025 A large, well-established all-through specialist school in Hillingdon, West London, is seeking dedicated Children’s Mental Health Assistants to join their team this September. Located just a short walk from Hillingdon Hospital, this school provides education for over 300 pupils and is the borough’s largest SEN provision. This role involves working closely with children and young people who have a range of complex needs, including moderate to severe learning difficulties, sensory processing challenges, communication needs, and autism spectrum disorders. You’ll be based in a classroom setting, supporting pupils within education while also contributing to their emotional and social development. The school is currently recruiting two additional assistants to work with students in the Key Stage 5 cohort.
