CLASS 2 DRIVER DAYS Shift: MONDAY TO FRIDAY: START TIMES ARE BETWEEN 03:00 and 06:00 People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Birmingham, Aston, WEST MIDLANS. As a Class 2 Driver you will receive the following benefits: Excellent Hourly Rates Ongoing Work Weekly Pay Onsite Canteen Training Provided Immediate Starts Employee Well-being Program Rates of Pay: Days from £16.00 Per Hour Day to Day Duties: Your duties as a Class 2 Driver will involve but not be limited to: Store Deliveries will involve handball Operate and drive various Class 2 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly Adhere to traffic laws and regulations Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management Assist with loaded and unloading of cargo as needed Use of electric or manual pump truck Tail lift usage Normally 1 trip per shift Normally 7-8 deliveries/collections Essential Skills: As a Class 2 Driver you will need to: Hold a valid UK Category C Licence Have a minimum of 12 months experience driving Category C vehicles No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes Have a valid UK CPC Card & UK Digi Card Must be able to speak and read a good level of English Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations Effective communication skills Desirable Experience: Experience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficial Previous experience in multi drop experience will be beneficial Training: Industry related training provided around processes and procedures with ongoing support without Contact If you are ready to take on this exciting opportunity, apply today by clicking the link below or get in touch with our recruitment team to find out more People Solutions do not charge any of their candidates any fees or request deposits at any stage of the recruitment process
